Days and Hours of Operation

The center is open Monday through Friday. The Preschool Room from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. and the Infant Room from 7:30 to 5:30. The center is closed the following days:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • President’s Day
  • Good Friday
  • Memorial Day
  • June (Last week of the month)
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Veteran’s Day
  • Columbus Day
  • Thanksgiving Day and Friday after Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
  • Winter Vacation (One week on December)
  • Parent-Teacher Conferences (Twice a year)

Staff Qualification

Teachers have Bachelor Degrees in Early Childhood Education or CDA (Children Development Association) Credentials. All the staff members are trained in First Aid and CPR-Certified.

Our personnel staff/child ratios are:

During surround care time (7:30 to 8:30 am and 5:00 to 6:00 pm), due to arrivals and departures of children and/or staff, the center reserves the right, if needed, to follow state ratios:

Supply List

General

  • Diapers (after 2 years old, please provide a mix of diapers and disposable training pants)*
  • Extra Clothing/socks*
  • Sun block (1 bottle/summer)
  • Insect Repellent (1 bottle/summer)
  • Blanket*
  • Swimsuit* (summer only)
  • Water Shoes* (summer only)
  • Hat and mittens* (winter only)
  • Towel* (summer only)
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste (every three months)
  • Emergency backpack
  • 2 pictures

Infants to (about) 12 months

  • Pacifier if needed
  • One bottle to keep in the center
  • One can of formula
  • Diapers
  • Bring daily at least 3 bottles ready to use. (Containing formula or breast milk)
  • *Each bottle has to be label with your child’s name (permanent marker) and the date (use a tape to be easy to remove every day).
  • Extra drooler/spit-up bibs*

* Indicates child’s name on garment tag with non-washable marker or sewn-in tags

Emergency Backpack Supplies

In order to be ready in a emergency situation, we are requesting that you to bring a little backpack with the following supplies:

  1. Water bottle
  2. Non-perishable food (high protein items, including cereal bars, ready-to-eat soup or peanut butter, etc.)
  3. Flashlight (kid size)
  4. Complete outfit
  5. Emergency card in a Ziploc bag (see attachment)
  6. Bottle and formula (Infants)
  7. Diapers and pacifiers (if needed)
  8. The backpack will be kept at the center and renewed every six months.
